About Us

In 2010, Bittles Brook Farm was a riding school with 30 horses and plenty of people coming and going.​ The farm is still home to a few horses with the addition of some sheep, chickens and our gorgeous pigs who inspired the name: ‘Black Pig Retreats’.

We wanted to create a space where people could relax, unwind and escape the rush of everyday life. We are blessed with an idyllic location, beautiful views and peaceful surroundings that we want to share with visitors.

All of our accommodation has been inspired by countries that we've visited and the three Safari Tents are named after black pigs from those regions. 

​​

We officially launched the glamping site in May 2017 and have loved hosting guests ever since. It's a joy to meet new people each week and see children, dogs and adults alike enjoying the farm and the beautiful Dorset countryside.
